Note: I think that Mathow (Matthew) was the older brother of Malcolm who was married to Margaret Smyth, but I haven't found any documentary proof. Also, the readable Campsie parish register records begin at about 1655, so there may have been more children in this family who were born before John, but of whom there is no record.
